On the road to get there
Perhaps the true way to make a difference and contribute to a better world is different than what I had always thought. Instead of being intent on making a difference ar pursuing greatness, it is better achieved in other ways?
Firstly, I have read somewhere (useless quote-less nonsense) that it’s better to make small continual but gradual changes than trying to effect grand sweeping changes.
The second point is concerned with passion. In several podcasts I’ve heard in the past day or two, a common theme has suddenly emerged. Instead of being passionate, it is more important to be passionate about something. In other words, one should not chase the effect, but rather spend effort on a cause that might effect change.
Focus on the future, but work in the present.
Good comes from small gradual improvements in an area one cares about deeply.
